Nicholson Family Support

The Nicholson family needs help with transporting their children to and from school while Dottie is recovering.

Dottie Nicholson was diagnosed with a kidney tumor the first week of March. Emergency surgery was successful, and she is now beginning her journey with chemotherapy to completely heal. Her mom, Kristi Nicholson will not be returning to teaching this year so she can care for Dottie.

The two other Nicholson girls attend the Lake Travis Elementary School where Kristi was teaching. Help providing transportation for the girls to and from school each day would alleviate a lot of stress.

Mornings: School starts at 7:40 AM. They have a co-teacher friend who can pick the girls up from Baylor Scott and White Medical Center on Hwy 71 in the morning and take them in with her own children. Help would consist of a quick trip from the Nicholson's home and hanging out with the girls until their ride can get them.
Afternoons: School ends at 3:00 PM. The girls are in extended care, so their pickup is anywhere between 3:30 - 6:00 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Molly would need to be dropped off at taekwondo in Marble Falls by 4:45PM. Brett can pick up the girls some of the time, but having help bringing them all the way from Austin into Marble Falls whenever possible would be greatly appreciated. It is approximately 45 minutes from the school to Marble Falls.
