The East Sac Garden Tour & Campus Event needs volunteers like you!

(PLEASE READ - Role descriptions and responsibilities listed below)
 
Help David Lubin Elementary School raise $100,000 for its 100 year anniversary by volunteering!
 
Please look through the volunteer sign-ups below and select where you can help. Shifts are broken up into 3 hour segments (10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm). If you are available to work all day, be sure to sign up for both shifts. 
 
Please note that there are two separate pages for each day of the event. If you would like to volunteer all day for both event days, please be sure to sign up for each day.
 
Volunteer Roles Available
  • Garden Greeter - Welcoming guests at the entrance of the assigned garden. Checking tickets and directing guests into the garden, and then onto their next garden. 
    • Position stands the majority of their shift.
 
  • Garden Docent - Welcoming guests once they enter the garden. Answering questions about the homeowners and their space (information provided). Helpful if volunteer has an interest in gardening.
    • Position stands the majority of their shift.
 
  • Welcome Desk - Welcoming guests on campus and directing them into the event and/or where to go for the tour. Checking tour ticket information, selling tickets, selling merchandise, and answering questions. Two volunteers will be stationed here at all times.
    • Position sits for the majority of their shift.
 
  • Pamper Bar Check In - Welcoming guests who have purchased tickets to activation at kindergarten area. Checking ticket information, selling tickets, escorting guests in to pamper bar, and explaining the process of the Pamper Bar. Two volunteers will be stationed here at all times.
    • Position sits for the majority of their shift.
 
  • Beer & Wine Garden Check In - Welcoming guests who have purchased tickets to activation at the back of the school in the closed street area. Checking ticket information, selling tickets, directing guests to the security to check IDs and get wrist banded, and explaining how the Beer & Wine Garden works. Be back up support to security to ensure no one under age enters and no alcohol comes on campus. Two volunteers will be stationed here at all times.
    • Position sits for the majority of their shift.
 
  • Event Assistant - The role that is on their feet the most, has the potential to really do anything, and is super helpful to the Event Manager. Perfect for people who like to get their hands dirty and get the job done. Also great if you are trying to get your steps in. 😉 Looking for three EAs per shift per day.
    • Postion stands, walks (possibly runs), and supports in lifting somewhat heavy items.
