GENERAL HELP/GREETER
  • Warmly greets and engages with customers in the patch
  • Makes sure pumpkins are regularly rotated to prevent rotting
  • Assists customers during their visit (guide to pricing table, taking pictures, lifting multiple pumpkins onto wagons, etc)
 
PUMPKIN PRICER
  • Stationed at the pricing table, ensures customers stop there before checking out
  • Uses the pumpkin size chart to determine the price
  • Records the total cost on a sticky note which customer gives to the cashier
 
CHECKOUT SUPPORT
  • Stationed near the cashier, assists customers with packing up their purchases
  • Assists the cashier to answer customer questions about the patch and/or church
  • Assists the customer with loading their pumpkins (if needed)
  • Thanks customer for visiting the patch (“Thanks for coming. Have a great day!”)
  •  
CASHIER
  • Stationed at the register, manages all cash and credit transactions
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Manages cash inside the register and makes sure there is sufficient change for the next shift (notify the on-call person if assistance is needed)
