We will be preparing non-perishable snacks in hand-made decorated bags for homeless youth in LA.

My Friend’s Place is an organization based in Hollywood that offers comprehensive services to nearly 1,400 homeless youth between the ages of 12 and 25, and their children, each year, out of their resource center. For more than 31 years, My Friend’s Place has been assisting and inspiring homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

Mast on Fig invites local families to join us in decorating paper bags with inspiring imagery and positive messaging and filling them with healthy, non-perishable snacks that My Friend's Place will then distribute to homeless youth. We aim to use creativity, art and food to nourish those in need of our support.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up to bring at least 2 items listed below.
Limit: 25 people total. All ages welcome.
