  • 2” or 2 ½” paint brush

  • Tape (optional)
Details:

Job 6 (Pre-K Room):  Repaint a portion of the door wall, the entire left wall, and a couple of minor touch-up spots.
Materials:
  • Revere Pewter satin/eggshell latex paint
  • Floor covering
  • 2” or 2 ½” paint brush (for cut-in)

  • Paint a portion of the door wall from ceiling to baseboard, from the left corner above the door and towards the sticker art work.  Blend in towards the sticker art work to minimize any paint matching issues.  Try to paint the vertical patch ‘heavy’ (or maybe first) so that you may only need one coat on that wall.  Cut-in or use tape.
  • Paint the entire left wall from ceiling to baseboard with two coats.  Avoid overpainting on the wall opposite the door in case the paints don’t match.  Cut-in or use tape.

  • Tape (optional)
Details:
  • Avoid overpainting on ceiling
  • Repaint the door wall where the shelves were removed, and only the ‘one’ upper plane (lighter color) of the recess.  Avoid overpainting to the sides of the recess in case the paints don’t match.  Cut in, or use tape.  One coat should suffice.
  • Repaint the wall opposite the door, and only the left upper half (lighter color) where the TV mount was removed.  Avoid overpainting to the right wall in case the paints don’t match.  Paint only to the window frame on left, but avoid overpainting on the window frame.  Blend in above the window frame and to the ‘emergency exit’ sign to minimize any paint matching issues.  One coat should suffice.
