Please help us create fresh start for a wonderful mother and her daughters.
On Saturday Feb. 11th we will be helping to give a family a fresh start. Maria* is a mother of a three beautiful girls (ages 22, 16 and 10) who was forced to flee her marriage of 22 years. She was a victim of physical, mental, and verbal abuse that reached a breaking point. Like many abusers, her husband spent years convincing her that she could never survive without him, but she knew she had to leave for the health and safety of herself and her children. Nine months ago she escaped with her two dependent daughters and sought refuge at Ruby's place. Ruby's place helped her build the confidence and resources she needed to make a fresh start. She now has a small apartment but has nothing to furnish it. Items can be gently used except beds and linens. Please help us create a loving home for them by donating or signing up for items below.
The 16 year old girl loves hair and make-up and her favorite colors are black and gray.
The 10 year old girl loves Hello Kitty and her favorite colors are black and pink.

Please note: We cannot pick up items. Items need to be brought to the church in between 8:30 and 10:00am on Saturday February 11. (no later than 10:00 as the moving truck will be leaving).
