Please help a wonderful, young, dedicated mom, her 4 children and nephew furnish their new apartment.
Bella is a single mom of four children ranging in ages from 15 months - 13 years old and also taking care of her 13 year old nephew. At the age of 14 she was raped and became pregant. She moved to Florida with her child in hopes of a better life but struggled to find housing. She has been mostly homeless since 2010, living between shelters, motels and staying with family. In August she was diagnosed with MS and last week found out she needs to have spinal surgery. She feels incredibly lucky because she was finally able to secure a ONE BEDROOM apartment for her family but now needs our help to set her up for success.
Let's bring the MATS Baseball team together to do something life-changing and memorable for Bella and her kids by donating the items listed below. You can drop off donations at Miramonte on February 18th between 9-10:30, arrange to have them mailed or dropped off earlier or Siobhan Foy/GG at 69 Southwood Drive, Orinda, CA 94563 (Amazon is so easy!)
